The situation

The product worked, but the brand wasn't telling that story yet

Apresi already had the concept in place: a physical photo gift linked via a QR code to an online page filled with photos, videos and personal messages. A gift whose story only really begins after it has been unwrapped. The product worked, but the brand did not yet tell that story as convincingly.

The gift market is crowded with established names, both direct competitors and adjacent brands. Apresi needed to stand out by adding emotional value without becoming sentimental or overdone. At the same time, it had to distinguish itself from the many photo gifts, cards and personalised presents already available. Without sharp positioning, a new brand quickly becomes just another photo gift provider.

For people who do not use digital tools every day, it also had to be immediately clear that creating a personal gift is simple.

From photo gift to
lasting memory

A photo on canvas or a photo card ends with the image itself. Apresi creates a memory you can treasure and relive: the physical gift becomes the starting point, while the QR code opens the rest of the story. This shifts the conversation from 'which photo product should I choose?' to 'which moment do I want to hold on to?'

Apresi positions itself as the platform that makes special memories unforgettable: a place where moments are captured, shared and relived again and again. More than a supplier of photo products, the brand brings together two archetypes: the Everyman, expressed through accessible, honest and unpretentious communication, and the Magician, which transforms an ordinary moment into something special.

The proof lies in a combination few competitors offer: a tangible gift connected to a personal digital memory page. On their own, the gift and the page are nothing remarkable. Together, they become more than a photo in a frame.

How we made that visible

The tagline 'A lasting moment' captures what Apresi wants to be: something that stays with you rather than a fleeting gesture. The tone of voice is friendly, warm and direct, fitting an Everyman brand that wants everyone to feel included.

The logo mark is a flowing curl shaped like a ribbon, referencing the wrapping of a gift. A deep burgundy paired with warm orange makes the brand recognisable and inviting without becoming childish or overly playful. Rebond Grotesque balances that playfulness with a modern, serious foundation.

Stuurmen also designed and built the Apresi website. The site guides people through creating a personal memory page in just a few steps, with the photo gift as the tangible part of the experience.

What it delivered

There are no hard numbers yet, the new brand identity and website just went live.

One gift, two forms

Physical and digital are not two separate products, but one experience: the gift opens the page and the page keeps the memory alive.

Recognisable in every channel

Colour, typography and tone of voice are applied consistently across the website, print and packaging.

First the memory, then the product

The website starts with the memory someone wants to preserve, not with a catalogue of photo products.
