About the project

How do you turn innovation into a brand that leads the industry? That was the challenge we took on for this pioneer in bioceramics.

Together we built on CAM Bioceramics' DNA. We sharpened the brand strategy and laid a solid foundation to bring their unique proposition and future ambitions to life.

What we saw

Four things that surfaced in the workshops and in the way the market talked about CAM.

What we saw

Four things that surfaced in the workshops and in the way the market talked about CAM.

Invisible in the end product

Read the pain point

The material leaves the building as powder or granulate and ends up in someone else's implant. The surgeon knows the implant. The patient knows the hospital. The name of the company that made the material appears nowhere. When you are invisible in the end product, procurement sees you as a line on a specification sheet. The conversation then becomes about price per kilo, not forty years of expertise in phase purity.

Quality nobody could see

Read the pain point

While competitors outsource their analysis, CAM carries out full quality control in house. The difference lies in what you can explain. A supplier forwards a certificate. CAM can explain why a batch behaves the way it does. That difference is difficult to make visible, because quality control cannot be seen in a product, let alone in a brochure. The proof was in the lab, not in the brand.

A sector that keeps itself dull

Read the pain point

Medtech suppliers all look alike. Blue, clean, an implant front and centre, a claim about reliability. CAM looked like the rest, even though the company had a history no competitor could copy. The sector's conventions were being followed rather than used to stand apart.

The conviction was there, the wording wasn't

Read the pain point

During the workshops, almost everyone arrived at the same belief: this work makes people's lives better. But everyone expressed it differently. Quality of life, making people happy, delivering the safest product, going beyond what is asked. All true, but disconnected. A brand only begins to lead when that conviction takes one clear form that the entire organisation can repeat, from R&D to the trade show stand.

For CAM Bioceramics, 'Tomorrow's standard, today' is more than a tagline. It is a conviction that guides every decision, innovation and collaboration. The promise emerged during our branding and digital workshops and captures the company's commitment to progress, excellence and collaboration, within the organisation and beyond.

That conviction extends beyond its leading products. It is reflected in how CAM Bioceramics works with clients, responds to the needs of the market and encourages its own team to push boundaries. From groundbreaking innovations in calcium phosphate solutions to building a forward-thinking culture, CAM Bioceramics continues to redefine what is possible.

Logo

The CAM Bioceramics logo is designed for the long term. Its timeless, enduring character reflects the company's ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence.

The shapes and curves of the letters 'C', 'A' and 'M' come together in an abstract, harmonious and powerful logo mark. The upward curve represents progress and growth, directly reflecting CAM Bioceramics' forward-looking vision.

The logo balances recognition with flexibility, making it functional, meaningful and easy to apply across every brand touchpoint.

Colour

The colour palette creates a professional, stable foundation that conveys reliability and trust. Building on CAM's existing colours preserves brand recognition while giving the visual identity greater impact.

A distinctive shade of blue adds energy and a contemporary accent. It draws attention and reinforces the modern character of the identity. The palette combines elegance with emphasis and reflects CAM Bioceramics' professional, open-minded attitude.

The visual language

The brand's minimalist identity is strengthened by dynamic lines derived from the flowing shapes of the logo. They bring energy and movement to the design and make CAM Bioceramics' forward-thinking character tangible.

The elements can be used in both dynamic and static ways, enriching a wide range of compositions without compromising clarity. The result is a precise, powerful system in which every element has a clear function.

Website

The CAM Bioceramics website translates the brand's precise, minimalist design philosophy into an accessible digital experience. Its structure guides visitors quickly and intuitively to the right information, with clarity and efficiency at its core.

The website is built as a modular system, giving the client full control over every page. With the user-friendly Storyblok CMS, the team can easily structure, edit and populate pages while keeping the design consistent and cohesive.

This modular approach offers maximum flexibility. CAM Bioceramics can adapt the content to changing needs while protecting the brand's professional, refined appearance. The result is a system that can grow with its ambitions.

One story

CAM now uses the new positioning in its own communication. On cambioceramics.com, it reads: 'We don't just meet expectations, we go beyond.'

The position in their own words

CAM now uses the new positioning themselves. On cambioceramics.com it reads: we don't just meet expectations, we go beyond.

The product is visible

What once left the building as white powder has now become something visible. Microscopic visualisations reveal its structure and purity.

CAM publishes itself

The site runs on Storyblok and is modular. New markets, research and news can be published without involving a developer.
