The situation

The product belonged in the top segment. Now the brand had to follow.

Koala Kitchen sold modular outdoor kitchens across a range of price points. During a visit to Italy, founder Duc discovered a family business whose products were made to a different standard. The quality was evident in everything, from the materials and finish to the details you only notice once you start using the kitchen.

Duc secured the exclusive distribution rights for the Netherlands and Belgium. This collection deserved its own brand, separate from Koala Kitchen: one that could launch in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany before expanding into southern Spain.

The ambition was clear: to become an established name in premium outdoor living, available through a small number of carefully selected partners and recognisable as a design brand long before anyone opens the first drawer.

What we saw

What we saw

The category was still stuck on products and specifications.

A premium price only makes sense when the quality can be felt in every detail.

Vesper's audience makes considered choices about their home, car, interior and the places where they spend their time. The outdoors naturally belongs in that same world.

For them, an outdoor kitchen is more than a place to prepare food. It becomes part of a second living room: a setting for long afternoons, full glasses and evenings when no one is in a hurry to go back inside.

That is why Vesper begins with the outdoor space, its architecture, the light and the way people live there. The kitchen follows.

Vesper positions itself as a design brand for premium outdoor living. Every kitchen is tailored to its surroundings, with proportions, materials and configurations that feel as though they were part of the architecture from the start.

Much of the quality lies in details that are not immediately visible: a door that closes softly, cooling drawers that open together and insulation behind the wall that continues to perform season after season. Italian production and meticulous attention to detail form the foundation.

Vesper deliberately works with a limited number of sales partners in each country. They take the time to listen, understand the setting and help clients create a kitchen that truly belongs.

This keeps the experience personal and protects the quality of the brand.

Vesper Light begins to shift

Vesper is Latin for evening, or more precisely, the moment when the light changes and day turns to dusk.

It is also the moment these kitchens are made for: when the air cools, dinner is on the table and people decide to stay a little longer.

The name is short, easy to pronounce across languages and not tied to a single product or country. This gives the brand room to grow further within outdoor living.

Light blue background with text about typefaces by Klim Type Foundry and Skriftkompani, including alphabet and numbers in different styles.

The visual identity originates in the moment that gave Vesper its name: the transition from day to evening.

The colour gradients are drawn from real evening skies. Bright blue shifts into soft orange, while warm red gradually fades into deep blue. This means the brand has no fixed backdrop; its atmosphere changes with the moment and the surroundings.

Two red cards on a light surface, with the texts "Living outside" and "Vesper", designed outdoor kitchens addressed.

The identity can appear small and precise on a business card, quotation or product label, while the same system is given more space in a shop window or campaign.

The changing sky, modular grid and typography recur throughout the brand, keeping Vesper recognisable across every application.

Every touchpoint centres on the same idea: the outdoors deserves the same attention as everything chosen carefully for the inside.

The website presents Vesper as part of a way of living. Large-scale imagery shows how the kitchens interact with architecture, materials and light. Products are presented as collections, including The Dusk Series.

The modular grid from the identity also shapes the digital structure. Atmosphere, product information and technical details each have their own place, without making the website feel like a product catalogue.

Visitors can discover the brand, explore the different kitchens and contact Vesper or one of its selected sales partners.
